Lewis Morgan will end his rather uneventful two year stay at the club when he owns a deal with Inter Miami.

According to SunSport, the player has now agreed personal terms with the new American soccer team and is now waiting on a work permit for the deal to go through.

Lewis was on the periphery of the Celtic side for so long. When he was first signed by the club two years ago this month th he was loaned back out to St Mirren. He then came in last summer and didn’t manage to make the breakthrough which resulted in him heading to Sunderland on loan last January.

There was rumours of another loan move this time around but Inter Miami’s intervention and fee have made it an easy yes from Celtic to let the player go.

Lewis will likely be on more money, be in the inaugural Inter Miami squad with a better lifestyle then he currently enjoys.

We wish him all the best.

  1. I can’t help thinking this could be a mistake. A great young Scottish talent that leaves the club, I just hope we don’t regret it in a few years time. I believe there’s a lot more room for improvement from Lewis. Good luck on your new venture.
