LIEL ABADA sparked injury fears when he was subbed off in his nation’s match against Albania.

However, the winger has been deemed fit for the Isreal under 21 side as they prepare to face Ireland on Tuesday night as the nation looks to qualify for the EURO Under 21 competition. The countries are both tied at 1-1 heading into the match, with the Israelis hoping Abada’s influence can make a positive impact.

It’s great news for Celtic to have Abada fit; hopefully, he can make it through the match unscathed. The Hoops’ attacking line has been weakened this international break, with Maeda and Haksabanovoic picking up injuries. Thankfully, Giorgos Giakouamkis’ knock doesn’t seem too serious.

There have been a few players picking up some knocks this break; Postecoglou will be itching to get his players back to assess the injury situation Celtic find themselves in heading into the hectic fixture schedule.

There are only a few players left to play for their nations before returning to Lennoxtown to prepare for Saturday’s match against Motherwell.
