ANGE POSTECOGLOU masterfully diffused journalists attempts to enter a war of words with Hibernian boss Lee Johnson after Saturday’s tie at Celtic Park.

By Ange’s own admission, he conceded it was a chaotic game, but when asked to be drawn on Lee Johnson feeling aggrieved and his thoughts on the Hibs manager calling out officials, the Australian wasn’t for biting.

Asked about Lee’s feelings on the game Ange jokingly responded: ‘I’m well aware of Lee’s feelings, I heard them for 100 minutes today’

Ange then went on to say Lee is perfectly entitled to his view on the game.

If you’re a young manager looking to make your way in the game, watching Ange disarm questions meant to provoke a headline is certainly something you should take time to do.

The Celtic manager was glad to get the three points and praised his players for their second half performance.

The bhoys were 1-0 down at the break, and with 9 minutes of regular time to go, they got the all important winner through substitute Oh. That was after Jota cancelled out Hibs first half goal from the spot.

The red card Hibs received looked harsh on the day for sure. Not another banner day for our officials.
