Tom Boyd was on commentary for Celtic TV on Wednesday night as the bhoys stoke the points at the death thanks to Scott Brown.
It looked as if Celtic had blown the chance to go two points clear at the top of the table when Hamilton scored on the 90th minute but the Scottish Champions forced the issue. Scott Brown led by example – slotting the ball home and sending Celtic fans daft.
It wasn’t just Celtic fans who went daft for a minute but the former Celtic captain In the commentary booth who during the goal celebrations clearly forgets the English language.
As Celtic Park erupted, Tom can’t be accused of staying composed and he was in the moment trying to get words out. It’s really funny and just a glimpse of what the rest of us in the stadium were like.
Had I tried to get words out other than gibberish, I’d have struggled too!
