It was a Boxing Day to remember for Celtic as the bhoys overcame adversity at Pittodrie to win 4-3 in a pulsating match marred in controversy for some questionable decisions by referee Willie Collum.

Graeme Shinnie diving couldn’t even spoil the party though as Celtic found another gear and dispatched of an Aberdeen side who were very anti-football on the day.

Back over in Glasgow, another story was unfolding as The Rangers couldn’t shake off Neil Lennon’s Hibernian even though they took a first-half lead.

The Ibrox men were stuttering and stumbling their way to three points when Darren McGregor silenced the stadium with a late equaliser.

This put Gers fans into meltdown, and it spilt over into the Superscoreboard phone in where one bear was in full meltdown mode as he told the radio show he was dreading the Celtic visit on Saturday.

It’s great listening.

Celtic take on the Ibrox outfit in Govan on Saturday with a 12:30 pm Kick Off.

If Celtic win they go six points clear of Gerrard’s side with a game in hand.
