We all remember Virgil van Dijk as a towering, strong and ball playing defender but some may forget he scored the odd belter for Celtic and managed some cracking free kick goals at his time for the club.
Many down south who don’t know about that side of the game have been alerted to this by showing old Celtic footage of him banging in some top strikes from dead ball situations for the bhoys.

Virgil van Dijk spent two seasons at Celtic before moving to Southampton for a club record fee at the time. He then earned Celtic another cash windfall when the Dutchman swapped St Mary’s for Anfield in a world record transfer move as he became the most expensive defender in football.
It won’t surprise Celtic fans how well the player is doing, having seen him strut his stuff at Parkhead on a weekly basis, most knew he was going to be a star.
Could he be Liverpool’s new setpiece taker? I think fans might be telling Jurgen to put the former Celtic star on any freekicks going forward!
