The ‘report’ from Football Scotland and reported by AnfieldQ claimed Tierney’s position had changed with regards to a move from Celtic following a chat with his friend and countryman Andy Robertson but the Champions League winner has rubbished these claims.
There’s a concerted effort at the moment to try and unsettle Kieran Tierney while putting Celtic fans through the ringer.
The player has been subject to a failed £15m bid from Arsenal and since then it’s all been rumours.
It’s brilliant that Andy has come out and quashed these rumours. The Liverpool’s star is a massive Celtic fan and it was highly unlikely in the first place he’d be advising Kieran to leave Parkhead.
There’s a long way to go in the transfer window and Celtic fans know they will have to deal with speculation like this until the window closes.
