LIVINGSTON caused an upset this afternoon and managed to hold league leaders Hearts to a 0-0 draw at Tynecastle.

With all eyes on the Edinburgh side after winning their first five games, they could have consolidated their position at the top of the table with a win over Livi.

However, the newly promoted side’s incredible start to the season continues as they sit level on points with Hibernian in third place.

Celtic now play tomorrow and could claw two points back, putting the bhoys only three points behind Hearts as the title race hots up already.

Celtic have only scored FIVE goals in five games thus far in the SPFL and they need to start turning their dominance into goals if they are to make sure they close the gap at Rugby Park.

Brendan Rodgers’ men are coming off a late win against Rosenborg at the weekend so confidence should be high. The bhoys have been struggling to break down resolute sides in the early season and Kilmarnock provides a big test in that regard.

Steve Clarke’s side are organised and well drilled, it will be up to Celtic to break them down.

  1. Well they will have to play a damn site better than they have the last two games. Cut the sideways football and start going for the jugular again. That is how you win matches

  2. Get in amongst them right from the start. Run at them and they’ll have to tackle us. Keep them turning with forward passes. Stop the chuckle vision stuff at the back, particularly with the plastic pitch. If we need to change the team then do it with enough time for the subs to have an impact.
