It may not have been a successful season for Celtic but that hasn’t stopped our young players from going on to pick up silverware of their own.

This evening, loan trio Luca Connell, Brody Paterson and Ryan Mullen will lift the League 2 title with Queens Park in their final home league game of the season against Edinburgh City.

The Spiders have had an incredible league campaign this season, winning all but one game with that defeat coming last week against Stranraer once the title was all wrapped up.

Both Connell and Paterson have played a big role in the push for the clubs first league title in 21 years in the second half of the season after an extended break over the winter. Mullen has also been part of the squad which ran away with things in League 2, mostly as a sub.

Tonight is the youngster’s first opportunity to lift a trophy as part of a first-team squad and they will be hoping to do so in style with another victory over Edinburgh City.
