Vakoun Bayo may have failed to deceive in his Celtic career so far but one thing that doesn’t disappoint is the nickname given to the striker whilst out on loan at Toulouse.
The Ivorian is known at the Ligue 2 side as ‘L’hélico’ or to translate from French ‘The Helicopter’.

Several of Bayo’s goals for Toulouse this season have come with his head and he has shown his abilities in the air as the frontman in France, so this is where he picked up the nickname of the helicopter from.
In the summer the 24-year old will be heading back to Parkhead when his loan ends at the Ligue 2 side. There is a chance he could stay at the promotion hopefuls, with Toulouse having an option to take him back on a permanent deal. However, at this stage, it seems unlikely with Bayo not being one of the main strikers at the club.

“failed to deceive” something lost in translation methinks!
