Lisa Hague and Kris Commons would like YOU to get involved in The Lola Commons Fund for SiMBA – and have a bit of fun too.
The Commons’ are asking SiMBA supporters to text donations to the fund and support their efforts to raise enough money for special care rooms for grieving parents in hospitals across the UK.
And they would also like you to upload your pictures with the ‘Text Lola’ poster onto social media sites to help SiMBA spread its message across the world.
So, if you live in Australia or Blackpool, wherever you are in the world, we want to see your pictures on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. And you can get your friends and family to join in!
Lisa said: “As well as texting a donation, anything from £1 to whatever you can afford, we’d love it if people all over the world could download the poster from the SiMBA website and upload pictures of themselves on to sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and share it with their friends and followers.
“Stillbirth and miscarriage aren’t spoken about often and people find it uncomfortable. We hope to break this taboo by helping other families realise they are not alone and ease their path through a very difficult and traumatic time.”
Lisa lost Lola Grace in 2008 and has pledged her support to SiMBA as an ambassador to try and reach out to other families.
