Over the years, Hibernian winger Martin Boyle has been heavily linked with a move to Parkhead.

The 28-year old has enjoyed a seven-year stay with the Easter Road side, which has attracted interest from several clubs due to his performances for his current side.

That was no different this window, with Ange Postecoglou’s side reportedly being interested in the Australian internationalist, but many were put off by the £3 million price tag.

However, as reported by the Daily Record, Boyle looks like he could be edging closer to an exit this month with the Edinburgh side considering a third bid from Saudi Arabian club Al-Faisaly.

Reports this evening have suggested that the rapid winger might have played his final game for the club, which funnily enough came against Celtic at Parkhead last Monday, after being left out of Shaun Maloney’s squad to take on Cove Rangers this evening.

This sort of transfer is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Boyle, so it is no surprise to see him looking to push for a move to the Middle East and set himself up for life with the wage he is likely to pick up at his new side.
