There has been one name that has been constant in the last couple of weeks of the January transfer window. For both good and bad reasons the name Maryan Shved has featured in Celtic’s transfer news on an ongoing basis.
Brendan Rodgers comments on the player been unknown to him started all kinds of war stories in the media. If Shved is on the fence about joining the champions a seat tonight in a packed Celtic Park might encourage the player into a Hoops jersey.
Rodgers has already stated the player is been brought into the development squad. The potential is obviously there as Celtic will be hoping to turn another development player into a seasoned pro.
Celtic fans will be hoping that the Celtic board can bring in at least one ready-made player before the window slams shut. The majority of fans are screaming out for a defender to be brought in.
Shved has looked on as the champions have failed to hit the target in the first 45 minutes.
