Former Celtic winger Lubomir Moravcik was in attendance as the Hoops stormed to a 5-0 victory Ross County this afternoon.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were formidable in the first half as goals from Liam Scales, Luke McCowan, Paulo Bernardo, Adam Idah, and Callum McGregor put them comfortably ahead at the break.
As the half time whistle blew, an almighty roar went up around Celtic Park, and another one could be heard as a very special guest was introduced during half time.
Indeed, former Hoops winger and fan favourite Moravcik was brought on to do the Paradise windfall draw.
He stayed on the pitch for a while after, and gave a big thank you to the home fans for their support.
The cheer for Moravcik was perhaps the last of the afternoon, as Celtic failed to improve on their five-goal advantage in the second 45.
Brendan Rodgers rang the changes, bringing on the likes of Yang Hyun-jun, Anthony Ralston, Reo Hatate, Arne Engels, and Greg Taylor.
It turned into a real training exercise for the Scottish Premiership champions, who extended their advantage at the top of the table.
The Celts are now five points ahead of Aberdeen and 14 clear of Rangers before they both play tomorrow afternoon.
