LUCA CONNELL has followed up on the assist he got on his debut for Queens Park last week with a goal this evening!
The Celtic youngster went on-loan to Queens Park just under two weeks ago and has started very brightly.
Ray McKinnon will be delighted with the acquisition of the Hoops hopeful as Luca appears to be making the most of the opportunity in front of him.
The Irish under 21 international also got a call up for his country because he had decided to make the move to the Scottish lower league and get some much needed competitive football.
There’s no doubt Luca can play at a higher level than he is right now but it’s all about getting games in those legs. Before this loan the midfielder only had 10 competitive games to his name, all at Bolton.
We’re hoping he can continue to make a splash and come back to the club this summer ready to make a real go of it.
Queens Park currently lead Albion Rovers 2-0.
