Numerous Celtic players were in action over the international break. Several bhoys represented their respective countries, and a few impressed.
Indeed Luis Palma, who turns out for Honduras, played a part in a recent 4-0 victory over Cuba. The winger also started in his country’s goalless draw with the same nation a few days prior.
Despite failing to score or assist, Palma was eye-catching in each appearance. Due to this, he was included in the official CONCACAF Nations League A Best Eleven for the October window:

Prior to jetting off with his country, Palma was on an upward trajectory with Celtic. The 23-year-old scored his first two Hoops goals in back-to-back league games and he was the most unlucky man in Glasgow when his strike was chopped off versus Lazio.

When he returns to Scotland ahead of the upcoming block of games, Brendan Rodgers will be keen for Palma to continue the rich vein of form he is currently on. The left-wing spot in the Irishman’s side seems to be the number seven’s to lose.
