Celtic winger Luis Palma has been included in the latest EAFC 25 Team of the Week due to his recent form with Honduras.
The wide-man bagged a brace in his country’s CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final first leg against Mexico last week.
Palma came off the bench with half an hour to go and finished a rebound from close range to put the hosts ahead. He then led a counter attack and nestled the ball into the far corner to double Honduras’ advantage in the last 10 minutes.
Although they held a first-leg advantage, Palma’s Honduras capitulated in the return tie in Mexico. They lost by four goals to nil, and the 24-year-old was hooked at half time.
Despite the collapse, Palma still earned a place in the latest EAFC 25 Team of the Week alongside Erling Haaland, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sandro Tonali, and Denzel Dumfries.
His card rated, overall, 83 out of 100. Perhaps Celtic fans will be surprised how highly Palma’s pace was ranked:

Celtic Return Beckons
Palma will now return to Celtic after an international break full of ups and downs.
Despite always seemingly performing for his country, the wide man rarely carries his form back to club level.
The Honduran feels like a square peg in a round hole at the Hoops. In January, it remains to be seen where his future lies.
