MIKAEL LUSTIG has responded to the green Brigade’s banner at Saturday’s Rennes game which read ‘Lustig you’re the one, thank you’.
This was the first time Celtic fans were back at Celtic Park since last season and the supporter’s group took the opportunity to thank their former right back for his contributions to the club over the past eight years.
Mikael was a big character both and off the field for the club and it was sad to see him move on this summer without the fans being able to say goodbye properly to the Swede.
Now playing in Belgium with Gent, the defender is a fully fledged Celtic fan who will no doubt keep his close ties with the club over the years.
Taking to Instagram, this evening, he posted an image of the Green Brigade’s banner with the words.
