Agree about Ajer. However, today was just one of those days. I would not have taken Young Edouard off. He was doing well and he leads the line well and was bringing the ball under control with his head up looking for the pass.
Not long after Dembele came on he was through and shot at the keeper from an angle where he would not have beaten the keeper. Had he centred it with a pass Sinclair was clear with an open goal for a hat-trick. That would definitely have ended the game as a contest.
