DAIZEN MAEDA arrived at Celtic in the January transfer window from Postecoglou’s former side Yokohama F. Marinos. After finishing J-League top scorer, he was straight back into the action when he arrived at Celtic.
Celtic brought the Japanese striker to the club on a six-month loan deal, obligated to buy the player in the summer.
Fans have already taken to the player, with his work rate highly applauded by the Celtic faithful.
Maeda has opened up on his Celtic debut. Of course, the striker scored just minutes into his debut against Hibs. Taking part in Celtic’s Q and A, the striker said;

Maeda has been sensational. He’s a player designed for Ange-ball. His constant pressing of opponents gives them no time to think and reinforces the manager’s wish to press from the front.
The striker will be looking forward to the summer to get a well-deserved rest. But first, he must help his team attempt to secure the treble by beating The Rangers at Hampden and securing the league.
