The Irish striker joined Celtic in January, but after having to endure a self-isolation period and deal with an injury, he is yet to make an appearance in green and white.
However, his luck could be about to turn. Celtic currently have one fit striker in Daizen Maeda, which could mean that the 18-year-old is included in Wednesday’s squad.
Giakoumakis is said to be ’50:50′ for the match, meaning Postecoglou may call Kenny upon.
Before joining the hoops, the former Sligo Rovers man had attracted interest from Hibs and south of the border. As a professional, he netted the ball eleven times in his first season.
Joining the first team at Celtic is a step up, and he’ll be hoping his goal-scoring form continues in Scotland.
