CELTIC have been handed a major boost in their quest for Champions League football after it was revealed due to circumstances elsewhere the club are most likely going to seeded for the entire qualification process.

There was a fear with participants in other leagues with higher coefficients that Celtic would play their qualifiers unseeded and have to play the harder teams in qualification.

However, the only way this would happen now is if Roma won the Champions League and finished fifth in Seria A.

Celtic have been seeded the last two times under Rodgers, getting to the promise land on both occasions.

The qualifiers start even earlier for the club next term who face FOUR qualifying games.

The Champions route kicks off mid-July, so if you don’t like long post-seasons then you may enjoy this.

It’s imperative Celtic give themselves every chance to get into the Champions League for the third time in a row, with the squad only getting 3 weeks off close season – the ones who won’t be at the World cup.
