Celtic are set to welcome back long term injured Christopher Jullien by the end of the month. By the time he makes a squad again, the Frenchman will have been out almost a year!

Jullien suffered a crudity’s ligament injury in December 2020 and has spent the last year rehabbing after an operation.

It’s been a long road back for the Celtic star but he’s almost in a position to go again.

However, according to SunSport, the defender won’t make the semi final of the League Cup against St Johnstone. The paper claims they have the timeline for Jullien’s return and that will likely come at the end of November to the start of December.

Celtic have Carl Starfelt out at the moment too. Getting both back will offer much needed depth and it will also give Ange Postecoglou a decision to make on who is first team centre back pairing is going to be.
