BRENDAN RODGERS has delivered some excellent news for Celtic fans ahead of their crunch tie in Norway followed by the cup final on Sunday.

Tom Rogic WILL be fit and available for both games after the Australian day out Celtic’s 3-0 win over Hamilton.

The Socceroos star returned from international duty with a slight knee injury which the club has been monitoring but Brendan has confirmed he’s ready to go for Thursday.

“He’ll be available for both games. It was just that trip he has had. With my experience with him coming right the way across the world, it was just too much of a risk for him to play at the weekend.” Rodgers told Record Sport.

“But he looked fantastic in training this morning.”

This is a massive boost to Celtic. The midfielder is likely to slide right back into the Celtic team and could be a difference maker on the night.

Celtic are looking for all three points against a Rosenborg side who are virtually already out of contention for a knockout place.

The bhoys will be hoping the Norwegians have one eye on their own cup final this coming Sunday on the night.
