It was reported Celtic were in the market for a young striker next month, and it looks like they are about to land another striker from PSG only six months after securing Odsonne Edouard.
Rumours from various sites including the Celtic Star reported the club were looking to bring 18-year-old Timothy Weigh in during the January transfer window.
Today’s social media comments and actions by the young striker seem to suggest the deal is pretty much agreed.
Taking Instagram, the young striker, who is also the son of 1995 Ballon d’Or winner George Weah has told his followers he WILL head out on-loan next month, but what’s more is the striker has started following Celtic players on the social media platform.
Brendan Rodgers was keen to get players in quickly to start building towards the second half of the season and said the club would need two strikers brought in this January.
It looks like there will be at least one coming in straight away.
Timothy is a product of the PSG system but has only made three appearances for the club this season – scoring two goals in the process.
