CELTIC have received welcome good news two days after they saw their defender limp off against Motherwell in their 4-1 victory at Fir Park.

Jeremie Frimpong took a very bad challenge to the leg when Devante Cole lunged in studs up on the Celtic right-back.

We were astonished when Andrew Dallas only produced a yellow card for the incident; replays showed it should have been a red.

The young defender tried to run it off but had to give up before the full time whistle.

Neil Lennon was concerned there could’ve been ligament damage but SunSport have revealed tonight the player’s scan went very well and he should be back when the bhoys return later this month.

Great news for Celtic but again the fans finding out first via SunSport when the club could’ve let us know through the website or social media.

Celtic’s reluctance to engage with new fan media is disappointing, especially during this season.

  1. IF Cole did that in public, he’d be arrested. It’s assault. The fact that the little sh1t Dallas didn’t see it as a serious assault, shows the depth the corruption goes. Get Dallss out of the game, he’s only in it to fu ck us about
