KARAMOKO DEMBELE has been forced to watch Celtic from the stands after he suffered an ankle fracture in the preseason camp in Wales.

In an update to his Instagram followers, he posted a photo of himself sitting upright in his hospital bed with the caption “Hi guys, unfortunately, I’ve had some problems with the healing process of my ankle fracture so I’ve had to get surgery done, Inshallah back on the field soon”

Karamoko had impressed in the games he featured in July but was forced off the field when Celtic played Bristol City after a dangerous challenge.

Just now Celtic only have one fit right-winger in Liel Abada, but the return of James Forrest is imminent.

In an ideal world, the Celtic youth academy graduate would have been in and around the first team this season trying to impress to either earn himself a good move when his contract expires or to receive a contract extension.

We hope his setback is not too serious and that he is back playing soon.
