NEIL LENNON has some good news and bad news on the injury front for Celtic this afternoon.
The manager was speaking ahead of the Europa League tie against Sparta Prague on Thursday night and let us know where two major first team stars stood.
James Forrest has gone under the knife and will now be out for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, the manager didn’t give a date for a return which makes us think the player is out until at least the new year.
On Christopher Jullien there’s better news!
The Frenchman is expected to recover from a back injury and be ready for action after next weeks international break.
The defender had been suffering from back pain and had to be sent to a specialist in Germany to try and solve the issue.
Celtic’s James Forrest has had surgery on his injured ankle & will be out for “a considerable time”. Neil Lennon says Chris Jullien should be back after the international break.

Celtic will have to go forward in the next two games without the defender. Ryan Christie looks certain to deputise at mid right going forward.
