Celtic season ticket holders will be offered the chance to have a virtual season ticket for the beginning of next season until supporters are allowed back into grounds the SPFL has announced.

Today’s meeting between the SPFL and Sky Sports has ended in an agreement which will allow clubs to raise revenue by selling to their season ticket holders.

Right now, it appears only season ticket holders will be afforded the opportunity to watch games live home and away.

This means Celtic supporters who have already signed up for next season and fans who were on the fence will now be able to take advantage of this initiative.

So all home games behind closed doors will be able to be accessed by season ticket holders.

This is good news and a developing story. Celtic TV would be in charge of delivering this. Over the years, the club has been inundated with criticism on the quality of their online TV channel. From the outside, it has looked underfunded even though the people running the channel do a great job.
