CELTIC FANS have been again warned to stay away from the Mestalla after it was reported there will be around 10k supporters travelling to Spain for Thursday’s tie.

AS are reporting there were only 2500 briefs up for grabs which sold out in a matter of hours, meaning there are a whopping 7500 odd Celtic fans looking for a way into the game.

Many fans already on the ground have been trying their luck at the box office, hoping they will be permitted into the home end of the stadium.

However, Valencia have reiterated there will be strict Passport checks at the door on Thursday evening and they WILL prevent any Celtic fan from entering the home section.

There has been many times in Europe where there has been a neutral section for supporters or other clubs quite happy to sell tickets to their home end. Valencia seem to be taking a hard stance approach and have sent several warning to bhoys fans.
