Former Celtic midfielder Marc Crosas sent out a post tonight urging Celtic to sign Frankfurt striker Santos Borré after he put their rivals to the sword in Seville.

Borré scored the equaliser and the decisive penalty during the shoot out to make sure of the win for the Germans, sending The Rangers home empty handed.

The Spaniard will be saying it with his tongue firmly placed in his cheek but there will be a serious note to it.

Celtic were actually linked with the Columbian back in the summer when he was still at River Plate before Frankfurt signed the striker on a four-year deal. [Footy Insider]

Marc might dance Celtic making a move for the striker but the money men would have sleepless nights if they even reached out for a transfer fee from Frankfurt. The frontman has helped Frankfurt win the Europa League and his stock is ridiculously high.

Saying that – if he fancies more goals against The Rangers – we’ll have him in a heartbeat!
