Celtic loanee, Marian Shved has continued his revival story with Belgian side KV Mechelen starting his third game in a row, which was also his third start for the season putting in an impressive display against Eupen yesterday.

The Ukrainian winger has found life tough over in Belgium so far this season, with it taking up until the middle of January to gain his first start for his loan side.

Now though, he appears to be taking his chance to impress with a run of decent performances from either off the bench or from the start that has seen Mechelen go on a run of five wins in the last six.

Many fans were left frustrated by Shved during his time in Glasgow but it appears, just like his first six-months in Belgium, it is down to attitude issues.

Mechelen do have an option to buy on Shved. In the first half of the season, it didn’t look like an option they would be taking up. However, if he can keep up his recent performances that may change.
