The biggest Celtic rumour this week has been the potential move for Hibernian’s Martin Boyle. The winger played under Neil Lennon during the Celtic manager’s time in the hot seat at Easter Road and there’s been talk of a reunion.

RecordSport are claiming Hibernian have set their price for the player who has 18-months left of his current Hibs deal.

The report says Hibs would want £1.5m for the midfielder, if he was to go in this window.

While this isn’t a problem for Celtic, it’s unclear if Lawwell would sanction such a deal for a player who would clearly be coming in to play backup to James Forrest. We also have Marian Shved in the same position twiddling his thumbs.

There are no real noises this deal is going to come off. Hibernian are not in a hurry to sell and it remains to be seen how keen Celtic really are.
