Martin Compston rarely misses an opportunity to mention Celtic when he’s in front of a screen and he didn’t disappoint on Thursday night’s One Show.

The BBC show had the Celtic daft actor on the sofa to talk about upcoming projects when he was asked about musicals:

Alex Jones asked : “Would you ever do a musical”

Martin: “Nah – the only time I sing is at Celtic games”.

Martin regularly frequents Celtic Park when he’s able to be in Glasgow and has played in many charity games in Paradise.

The actor continually bigs up the club in his travels and is very grounded for someone in the public eye.

Celtic have many celebrity fans but none quite so active as Martin and his mate Gianni Capaldi. They’ve helped out and are ambassadors for the Celtic foundation.

We wonder if he had a sing song when he was in the comfy seats next to Gordon Strachan earlier this season.

Maybe Martin should get a part in the Celtic musical for its next run in Glasgow!
