TOM ROGIC now looks set to be out until March after the Celtic manager confirmed it would be 6-8 weeks before the Australian was fully fit.
Earlier this month, Brendan Rodgers told the Celtic fans that Tom was close to being fit and could feature by the end of January, it now looks like we’ll have to wait a lot longer for the Scottish Cup hero.
When asked yesterday about Tom’s recovery time the Irishman replied: “Could be six to eight weeks”.
This is another major blow for Celtic who are now without Armstrong, Rogic, Hayes and Roberts in midfield; not to mention Marvin Compper is going to be out for a month.
Armstrong is not expected back until later on in February, with Hayes out the rest of the season, fans are hoping Patrick Roberts recovery continues and he can help out before the end of this campaign.
Celtic are currently very active, trying to bring in new signings before the January window closes. Rodgers is hoping for quality to come and help the team for the second half of the season.
Rodgers is a fecking joke I would love to speak to him he better get some signings in stop messing around
Who would you sign ?
About rogic it’s getting worse by the minute
You have to start questioning rodgerstraining methods too many players getting injured noo Griffiths,Sinclair, dembele, commper,to name but a few agree wi commons 100 percent not good
Rodgers also gave hoops fans false hope about rogic being close to being fit tae.
Same every year, leaving transfers to last minute, then running around mad, trying to get players in before window closes.they know they must spend big on 2experienced commanding centre backs, and a goalkeeper, they do not want another humil
Iation in Europe, so get the money out and start spending big.also I would like to know what Rodgers plan b is if he has one. He surely must have learned something in Europe, to prove

In the 6 months from the start of the season until christmas Rogic was going back and forth from scotland and australia, as well as detours elsewhere over the world including austria, england, Japan, syria, germany, australia, North America, Norway, Northern Ireland, Kazakhstan, France and Belgium, and he is going to russia in the summer for the world cup, plus i have missed a few countries out no doubt. i reckon rogic is just suffering from exhaustion, it seems to be the weakness of signing players from australia, asia and africa – all the travelling they have to do play international football and european football with celtic really does them in. nakamura and ambrose almost became past it over night after they had been jetting off all over the world to play – think playing elite level football in so many different time zones and altitudes just seems to wreak havoc with players. could be wrong, this is just speculation
good balanced comment.
Very good point
Definitely something wrong with the training methods just to many players injured for this to be a coincidence, so get it sorted Celtic and get the biscuit tin mentality to feck the supporters are gonna be asking big big questions very soon
We must be sitting sweet, financially.Yet here we are in serious need of a refresh defensively Now the midfield is literally down to the bare bones.Lawell get it Sorted.
i can honestly see us getting beating by Zenit.Have we improved in Europe???Has our defensive frailties been addressd. Now we have problems in Midfield. We have signed Compper who cant play in Europa and Lewis Morgan who has been loaned back to St Mirren till end of season. The only way we can get Quality Players is Paying for Them.Is our Board showing any ambition. When it comes to European Competituon.Dominating Scottish Premier is one thing,But in Europe we definitely need some luck.Cause it doesnt look like we have got much more going for us,Under the Circumstances.Injuries etc…HH
