Many Celtic fans have been reacting to Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic starting XI for tonight’s game against Hibernian.
The Celtic boss has sprung a major surprise by starting Mikey Johnston – it will be the player’s first competitive start under Ange.
Mikey has struggled with so many injuries over the past few years, any time he’s looked ready to make the breakthrough and become a first team starter, his body lets him down.
There’s undeniable talent in the wee man but he needs to keep fit now and have a sustained run in the side. Any further setbacks could irreparably harm his future at the club in many peoples eyes.
The good news for Mikey is right now, a lot of the fan base are right behind the winger.
Johnston has been lively when brought on the past two weeks and getting his start tonight ahead of Abada with Jota shifting over to the right will certainly give him a confidence boost.
The beauty is Jota is versatile enough to go out onto the right.
Fans have been having their say ahead of kick-off.
Great to see Mikey Johnston back playing. He's a special talent and can be a great asset for Celtic and Scotland as long as he stays clear of injury. Big opportunity tonight. https://t.co/ZMhUPmYers

A big test tonight at Easter Road, where Celtic haven’t seen a lot of success in recent years
Massive night for Mikey Johnston and a well-deserved start with his recent cameos off the bench

Loving that Mikey Johnston is starting tonight. He's very much an Ange sort of player – fast and tricky, and great to watch. Hoping big ΓΓ comes on later too.
