It appears as if Celtic won’t be making a move for Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan.
Reports on Sunday reveal the Australian stopper is close to a move to La Liga.
Ryan had been linked with Celtic because of the Australian connection – however – there was never anything tangible to suggest Celtic had made an approach.

We have no idea if Ange Postecoglou believes he needs a new goalkeeper or not. He could be waiting until later down the line to see what he at his disposal. If the manager has watched Celtic games from last season, he will know it’s a major issue.
