TOM ROGIC will not get a run out this evening against Motherwell for the developmental side after the game was called off this afternoon.

Due to wintry conditions and a pitch inspection at 2pm today, officials have decided to postpone the game leaving the Australian in limbo.

This is the second time the manager has tried to get Tom on the pitch within the last few days. The hope was he would get some time against Partick Thistle, but with Celtic conceding a second goal those plans were scrapped.

Tonight was a proper chance for the player to get 60-70 minutes under his belt to get him as sharp as possible for the Europa League tie on Thursday but now that the game has been postponed it would be a massive risk to play the midfielder.

A quick bounce game at Lennoxtown may be arranged to help the player, either way it would be difficult to see the Scottish Cup hero starting on Thursday.
