MATT O’RILEY was the last of Celtic’s five signings in the January transfer window.

Making the switch north of the border for League 1 side MK Dons, it’s fair to say Celtic have a quality player on the books.

The £1.5 million signing has been in great form since arriving in Glasgow. His form has been impressive that he is set to switch his alliances to Denmark and represent that nation shortly. [Daily Record]

The Denmark assistant manager visited Celtic Park on Thursday, as Celtic were defeated by Bodo/Glimt, to watch the player. Morten Weighorst has watched O’Riley a lot under Ange, but this was his first time in person.

O’Riley revealed he feels Danish, able to speak the language of the country his mother was born in.

Of course, the Danes have their place for the World Cup at the end of this year booked, but Matt is set to be in contention for the national side’s upcoming friendlies.
