Celtic’s 3-1 victory against Motherwell got everybody emotional, including the players after the game, who celebrated a vital three points with the supporters.

Matt O’Riley is one player who, in particular, wears his heart on his sleeve on the pitch but at the same time is considerate in what he says off the pitch.

The Danish midfielder had a very clear message to supporters after the game.

Posting on his Instagram story, O’Riley delivered some motivational words to Celtic fans: “Until the end”, he said.

Despite rumours over a summer exit, O’Riley is embracing the title race with his focus solely on retaining the Scottish Premiership title.

In just over two years at the club, he has proven time and again to be a reliable player, and alongside Callum McGregor in the middle of the park, Celtic have two players who are more than ready for a title challenge.

O’Riley is undoubtedly a vital player to have in the dressing room, with his blend of professionalism and intelligence clear for all to see.

He is not getting carried away with what should be a routine win at Fir Park, but at the same time, he appreciates what a winning goal in stoppage time can do for Celtic’s title aspirations at the end of the season.
