Celtic’s season has been very much about it’s full backs, the praise over the past few weeks has focused more on the left side of the pitch but today Adam Matthews stepped up with a wonder goal that will be getting voted for in “Goal of the Season” competitions sometime in May.

Much was made of the job Celtic would have on their hands today to secure 3 points but in truth after the Matthews goal the game was never in doubt. Celtic controlled the game pretty much from the first whistle. Liam Henderson added Celtic’s second goal in the second half and the rest of the game just played itself out without Celtic players needing to over extend themselves.

Next up is a trip to the highlands when Celtic face Ross County and look to start stamping their authority on the top of the table battle that’s going on.
