JASON DENYER looks set to confirm his move to Lyon once his medical and personal terms have been completed according to reports in France.

The Belgian has been in high demand this summer with offers from Turkey, France and Celtic.

The defender has taken his time to make sure he made the right move in this window and while Celtic are an attractive option – Jason is looking for a new challenge.

Brendan Rodgers is keen to get at least one centre back in before the deadline but only if it will improve the squad.

The Irishman was down in Manchester yesterday fueling speculation he was looking at more Man City players other than Denayer.

So far Celtic have brought in three this window: Edouard, Izaguirre and Arzani.

If they can bring in a powerful defender it will still be seen as a successful window.

  1. Nothing new we look set to miss out on every player we look at,look we should have two big CH season pros at the club at all times,it is one thing taking on young players but the spine of your team has got to solid and it needs sorted right now why risk playing a player that has had a head to head with the club and manager and team mates he wants out we all know this can you rely on him, bring in some seasoned pros now before we are out of everything this season.

  2. A defender is most important you can’t win in Europe without a strong back line. Midfield is strong if all fit and we’re alright for strikers.

    • We have a huge hole in the team we need seasoned pros we need two or three new central defenders or Centre-Halfs we need that hole filled now get ride of some of the dead wood now, and bring in those two or three we need them now the Midfield is strong and our strikers are as good as any out there.
move the dead wood out now this window
