Despite being widely linked with a move to English champions Manchester City, Kyogo Furuhashi remains a favourite at Celtic.
The Japanese frontman has scored countless memorable goals throughout his time in Glasgow and has adorned himself both to the support and his teammates.
A popular figure at the club, the 29-year-old is one of the Hoops’ best strikers post-millennium.
It is no surprise he has been touted as a potential option for a club like City, although it was slightly out there to see one of Celtic Women’s players mention him in the same breath as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Indeed, on X, a clip has emerged of one of the Ghirls being asked who is the better player out of Messi and Ronaldo. She brilliantly replied with the name of the Hoops’ star Japanese hitman:
Messi or Ronaldo? @Kyogo_Furuhashi pic.twitter.com/GW4FLQhsTz

Kyogo is far off the levels of some of the greats of the game, but if he eventually goes to City, many more football fans will discover his talents which make him one of the most lethal strikers in the UK.
