CELTIC have just booked themselves a place in the League Cup final, and Rangers boss Michael Beale is already bricking it at the prospect of witnessing another clean sweep from the Hoops.

Beale watched Celtic two trebles when he was an Ibrox coach under Steven Gerrard, but the now Rangers manager was said to be the brains behind all that success.
The Rangers are yet to play their semi-final against Aberdeen, but the Ibrox boss is already worried about a Celtic treble.
“When you start the season, there are three trophies up for grabs,” he said, as quoted by the Scotsman.
“For the players, that was the standards, the goals, the aims they set themselves with Gio and his staff, and then me coming in and inheriting this group. It’s unthinkable [all the trophies] would go elsewhere because there’s a big probability they are only going to Celtic if they don’t come here. We don’t want that, we have had to live that before. It’s important that we try to win every trophy in front of us.”
The ignorance on show from Beale is astounding; it’s almost as if he wasn’t at Ibrox when he watched a St Johnstone cup double!
Beale has done more talking about Celtic’s treble hopes than Ange Postecoglou has; he’ll soon learn from the Celtic boss and keep his mouth shut on such scenarios.
Now, a Celtic treble wouldn’t be unthinkable, and it is a strong possibility with the quality of the Hoops dressing room. But as Ange will remind his players, we take it one game at a time, and if we perform to our best of our ability, we’ll get to where we want to be.
