Celtic winger James Forrest stole the show at Dens Park on Sunday with a fine double that ensured his side returned to Glasgow with three points.
The veteran rolled back the years with a performance that reminded fans of his quality and backed up Brendan Rodgers’ previous comments about him being the best winger at the Hoops.

He is a living legend and although he may have felt his international career was over amid a lack of games at Celtic, his recent renaissance has led to rightful calls for him to be on the Scotland plane to Germany.
Forrest admitted after yesterday’s win over the Dee that he hasn’t booked any summer holidays yet, and Michael Stewart thinks bringing him to the Euros shouldn’t be thought about twice.
He said: [Sportscene via RecordSport] “It’s a no-brainer for me. With the problems we are having at right-wing-back at the moment, it is somewhere that James Forrest could cover if he was in the squad.
“I would 100 per cent have him in the squad. Even if it was a 23-man squad never mind 26.”
The 32-year-old’s experience, versatility, and general quality are everything Steve Clarke would want in a player.
Giving him his first cap since the last Euros wouldn’t be entirely controversial given his recent fettle and in tournament football, having players in your team who are high on confidence and in fine form can prove crucial.
