MICHAEL STEWART has tonight implored the Celtic board to show their hand or risk a massive revolt during season ticket renewals.

The fans have been in the dark for quite some time with the Celtic media channels going silent on anything vaguely important – opting to post birthday messages and ‘on this day’ media clips.

Celtic have fallen so far in the last six months they are unrecognisable from the side who dominated Scottish football for so long. While we have no right to win forever, the contrast in fortunes means there has to be change but a reluctance to make the change has left supporters frustrated.

Stewart claims the board must now seriously look at their strategy or risk alienating a fan base who is already disconnected.

Celtic fell to a 2-1 defeat to St Mirren at home, their first victory at Celtic Park in 31 years.

It’s 8 wins in 24 for the manager and while we know there will be a change in CEO in the summer, the club must now take steps to show what they’re thinking with regards to the managerial situation and how they plan to move forward.

  1. Ira, you’re a wee bit of a fox in the hen house, and I’m being diplomatic here.
Be a Celtic supporter, and support your team, or decide not to be a Celtic supporter.
    That’s your choice.
It’s easy supporting a team when they’re winning treble trebles.

  2. Celtic board need to make a move for the Scotland manager we could see what he did with a few million to spend, if we not talking to him now them some one is not doing there job go get him in for start of next season give him a BR deal that will seal it..

  3. Id be happy with Clarke but not sure he could be bothered with the sectarian garbage that he would be subjecting himself to.
Still leaves us needing someone to hold the fort for the rest of this humiliating season, it is going to be a struggle to finish 2nd.
    Absolutely shameful
