Former Hearts midfielder and current BBC Scotland pundit Michael Stewart believes that Celtic now hold all the momentum, after last night’s 3-0 Glasgow Derby victory took the Hoops to the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Ange Postecoglou’s side overturned a two-point deficit on Wednesday evening to put themselves top of the league for the first time since August.

Taking to social media in the aftermath of the game, Stewart was full of praise for the job Postecoglou has done so far, as well as new midfield additions Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate for their performances in the middle of the park.

The pundit also insisted that the momentum is now with Celtic, who find themselves on top and having already lifted a trophy in the early stages of the season.

It has been an incredibly impressive turnaround from Ange Postecoglou to get his side putting in the level of performance last night, and the hard work has paid off for the 56-year old.

Of course, there is still a long way to go in this title race. But given how much has gone wrong since his arrival in Glasgow, Ange has not once complained and continued to get to work, which has paid off in the long run.

The former Socceroos boss will now be looking for his side to keep that momentum going, starting with Sunday’s trip to Fir Park against Motherwell.

  1. Now on to Motherwell, where we have to replicate Wednesday night’s performance. Hopefully, we continue to bring joy to the party.

On the other side of Glasgow, the Buns will be at the hands of a strong Hearts team. No doubt SOUTAR will give away a penalty to aid his mates at Ipox.

BBC, Thompson, McCanny, and Michael Stewart raking over the coals about the collision between the two players. After watching Davie Weir for years feigning a head injury every time the opposition were in the Buns penalty area, we get used to the “I am injured poor soul” then he’s up and running about as if nothing happened. Get real CHEATS the lot of them.
