Celtic midfielder Oliver Ntcham was spotted on Saturday evening watching his former loan side Marseille, whilst the Hoops lost out to Hearts.

Taking to Instagram, fans quickly noticed that Ntcham appeared to be back in his homeland, which could have left suggestions for his possible future at the club.

Some reports stated that the 25-year old was looking to fight for his place at the club under Ange Postecoglou.

He has even posted similar Instagram stories in the last few weeks whilst at the Celtic games, including friendlies and Champions League qualifiers.

Since then, it has gone quiet on what the future might hold for the midfielder.

With last nights developments, though, it would suggest to some that Ntcham’s future could be elsewhere, and he may not be in the 55-year old’s plans at Parkhead going forward.

This is another situation that needs to be cleared up by the club.

Currently, Ntcham is still a Celtic player but hasn’t been seen in a Green and White shirt since the pre-season trip to Wales.

In the past, he has shown he has talent as a player, and some believed there was a chance his career in Glasgow could be revitalised under Postecoglou.

Going off this sort of thing, though, it doesn’t seem too likely at this stage, which is disappointing as it would have been good to see the Frenchman be given a clean slate under a new manager.
