Celtic have announced the signing of German midfielder Mika Baur from Paderborn.
Baur has signed a long-term contract at Celtic, with the deal understood to run for four years, with the option of a further year.
The deal is understood to be worth around £7million, making Baur a major addition to Celtic’s midfield options.
The Germany Under-21 international had interest from elsewhere, but Celtic have now secured his signature after talks moved forward in recent weeks.
Baur arrives after becoming an important player for Paderborn.

He made 33 league appearances last season, scoring four goals and adding six assists as he became a regular in the German second tier.
The midfielder can play in a number of central roles, either sitting deeper or operating further forward as a No.8.
That gives Celtic another option in the middle of the park at a time when there could still be more movement in that area before the transfer window closes.
At 22, Baur also arrives with plenty of senior experience already behind him while still having room to improve.
Talks with Paderborn finally moved forward this week, allowing Baur to travel to Glasgow and complete the move.
His arrival gives O’Neill another signing as Celtic continue to strengthen the squad ahead of an important run of domestic and European fixtures.
Attention will now turn to how quickly Baur settles into the squad and when he could make his first appearance in green and white.
Celtic could still have more midfield business to do, especially with uncertainty around Arne Engels’ future and other options still being considered.
For Baur, though, the move to Parkhead is now complete.
