Celtic only managed a draw today against their Glasgow rivals in a game where they could have won if they applied themselves just a bit more.
One man who left it all on the field today was Diego Laxalt. The defender has come in for so much criticism this season and rightly so, but today, after getting the nod, he made sure he had a great game.
The Uruguayan is on loan from Milan and is likely to head back to Italy this summer to sort out his future away from Celtic.
This could be one of his last games in the Hoops, Taylor is preferred and he is our player so it would be wise for us to give experience and game time to the Scottish defender.
It doesn’t stop us from praising Laxalt today, and many supporters have praised the defender for his efforts today.
It’s a shame we couldn’t find that winner.
Hope that people can see the quality Laxalt has now. Good player playing in an out of form team. Miles ahead of Taylor

One plus point was Laxalt playing like the player I thought he’d be when he signed, no idea how he never got MoTM. Maybe under a better coach he’d be worth being back next season

Deserved to win that. Overall too profligate and the usual one defensive lapse did us. A positive was we looked a lot fitter. Kept going longer. Laxalt had a cracking game. Their best player probably Collum.

I’ve been impressed with Laxalt today I must say.
